For some time now, the entire New England region has had a target of love and healing centered on it from various ministers of IAM. This region has, in the past few years, experienced wave after wave of men and women who have a passion for healing who have come in and “stirred the waters” in the numerous churches we are affiliated with. The most recent stirring took place during the late part of June/early July with a barrage from Wayne C. Anderson, Kevin & Cynthia Ford, Rick Wilson, and David and Jenny Johns. Kevin Ford took some time this past week to reminisce about what he saw God do during his time in the Northeast this summer.
David and Jenny Johns, the beloved directors of IAM New Zealand, like many ministers felt the call to come to Lakeland, FL this summer to experience the Florida Outpouring with Todd Bentley. And experience it they did. Following this time of refreshing and re-firing, the Johns’ traveled to New England with Kevin and Cynthia Ford on a whirlwind tour of the Northeastern US.The tour started with the start of "10 Days Ablaze" at Revival Connections in White River Junction, VT. Miracles started to take place the very first night there as legs started to grow out. This phenomenon occurs when God is healing back pain in His people. Often, one leg is shorter than the other and thus people’s backs become out of alignment and often cause great discomfort. All in all, on this trip, 11 different people in 11 different meetings experienced this miracle.
From their start in Vermont, the Fords and the Johns traveled southeast to Life in Christ Fellowship in Newport, NH, headed up by the Bishops. Here, many people who had been afflicted with various pains and ailments received their promised healings. Many necks and back were realigned, lungs were healed, and people’s blood pressure readings were restored to their proper levels. Many others experienced the rest of God as deep sleep was restored to their nights after years of suffering with sleep apnea. One man, named Steve, was even healed of severe back pain that he had had for over 30 years as one of his legs grew out before his eyes. What made this miracle so cool was that Steve didn’t even believe in healing. Go God! Another notable miracle came to a woman named Jill who, because of severe back pain, had to sleep in a recliner for 6 years. After one touch from God, she was finally able to return to a bed and enjoy a good night’s sleep.The couples headed north near the Canadian border in the city of Burlington, VT to visit a home group called the Place of Refreshing next. And a place of refreshing it was. Miracles and healings continued to manifest themselves and a noted attitude of victory become very apparent in the people.
The team ended their Northeastern swing with 4 nights of healing at the Shepherd’s House in Albany, NY. This portion the trip was a part of a larger healing revival that the Shepherd’s House had set out to create by having 3 weeks of meetings with Wayne C. Anderson, the Fords, and Rick Wilson. Kevin was able to easily walk into and continue the teaching and performing of miracles here thanks to the foundations that Apostle Wayne had laid the week before. Here’s a rundown of some of the more notable miracles that took place: A lady named Marcia had one of her legs grow nearly 3 inches(!) causing her back pain to leave. Another woman named Colleen had chronic pain of nearly 20 years leave instantly in a meeting. And a man name Luis saw severe pain in his rotary cuff disappear. These are just a few of many examples of how the love of Jesus was poured out at the Shepherd’s House. But here, the healing revival has not stopped; after a week of meetings with Rick Wilson, Michael and Mary Ellen Brennan, pastors of the Shepherd’s House have started weekly healing meetings every Tuesday night.
