Revival in Southern New Hampshire
Sure revival is breaking forth in Lakeland, FL as thousands gather in stadiums and arenas witnessing the power of God in every meeting, but have you heard about the revival currently gaining momentum in southern New Hampshire?
It all started a month or so ago, Diane Bennett of Liberty Tree Ministries recalls, as she noted a distinctive change in the atmosphere of the region surrounding the college town of Keene, NH. For years, Diane and others in the Keene area have sown the seeds of revival with their ongoing intercession to God, but it now seemed as though those seeds were about to spring forth in a dramatic fashion. Diane recalls receiving a vision of horses in their stalls nervously dancing in their gates at a race. All that was needed was someone to fire the gun to release them.In his visit to the States from South Africa, Pastor Percy Jeptha’s scheduled opened up for a swing through New England to visit several churches and ministries. One of these stops was Keene, NH and other fellowships in southern New Hampshire. Sensing that God was about to do something big with Percy’s visit, Diane and her crew, despite not having had the chance to visit Lakeland themselves, decided to step into the revival by faith and watch God move. What happened next will go into the annuals of church history.
As Diane and her crew took Pastor Percy to various churches, fellowships, and house gatherings of believers, dynamic healings and miracles began to spring forth. In total so far, six different communities in the Keene area have seen healings, people come to Christ, and an openness to the gospel that has spread to all levels of society. One of the more dramatic instant healings was witnessed in a house meeting as a woman who has dealt with Fibromyalgia was released from the constant pain of the disease. Diane recalls that she will never forget the look in the eyes of the woman as she realized that she was pain free. Since then, six other people in the area have been healed from this crippling disease; some instant, others within a few days. One of the people even got healed while in the waiting room of their chiropractor.
Another hotspot of this revival has been the Total Fitness Gym, which Diane is calling the Church of the Total Fitness Gym. This is due to the outbreaks of salvations and healings that have been and continue to take place there. One church member took Pastor Percy to the gym daily to work out, but it soon turned into a place of witnessing Christ with miracles following. The signs and wonders resulting in a new spiritual fitness continue on a daily basis in this gym thanks to the burning passion for souls of the believers there.
Even though Pastor Percy has long since headed back to South Africa, the healings, mircales, and salvations continue in southern New Hampshire in great abundance. Doctors have come in to get an impartation for healing to use in their medical practice. Gatherings of believers who have never heard about the Holy Ghost still healing today are seeing those healings firsthand. People are meeting Jesus or returning to Him on street daily. And these people who come to know Christ are immediately filled with a hunger to learn more. This people, is what revival is all about: people being revived!
