We appreciate your interest and your participation in International Apostolic Ministries, a family of ministries that is busy making the name of Jesus famous throughout the world.

This is the Online Application for Ordination – Terms Of Agreement.

In order to be ordained with International Apostolic Ministries you must be called of God to minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ in accordance with the scriptures. You may have either already been ordained and you are seeking credentials with us, or you want to be ordained by us.

We believe that it is God Who ordains people to do the works of ministry. It is our job to acknowledge what the Lord has already done as a covenant spiritual family.

The online form and Application For Ordination is currently the only application that is available. In other words, we are not accepting paper applications.

Because we have become more digitally administrative, it is necessary for each applicant to have an active email address. This email address is how we will contact you concerning your application process, so it is also necessary that the email address given is regularly checked. If we contact you concerning information needed to complete your application process, we will probably do so via your email address. Each time there is needed information, the application process will be halted until we attain the completed information.

I.A.M. now operates mainly with the I.A.M. App. It is the member’s responsibility to communicate via our App by downloading it and signing in with an actively monitored email address. (See iamtheway.org/app)

It is extremely important that each ordination applicant have and ongoing relationship with other International Apostolic Ministries ministers.

It is also extremely important that each member of International Apostolic Ministries support and attend our regional conferences whenever possible. This is because we are relational based. We need to be together…

It is also necessary that each member of International Apostolic Ministries take some part in the ministry activities of International Apostolic Ministries. You will learn more about this as time goes on. “Ask not what your apostolic family can do for you, ask what you can do for your apostolic family….” 🙂

The purpose of these rules is that the very reason why International Apostolic Ministries exists is because of relationship. We are not a “mail order” ordaining group. We are an apostolic network of ministries. We are a spiritual family, or tribe.

In the application form, you will be asked a number of questions that have to do with both your past experience and your future vision. References are necessary for us to contact concerning issues of character and perhaps even financial integrity.

If your application is accepted, you can expect to be informed of your application acceptance and post mailed a “Certificate of Ordination.”

In order to hold Ordination credentials with any organization in America there are financial requirements. Many require a tithe while others require monthly or annual dues. It is impossible to keep administrations for an organization without doing so. International Apostolic Ministries is no exception. In order to remain an ordained member of International Apostolic Ministries there is now a minimum monthly auto pay renewal fee. This fee helps only a part of the administrative costs and the operations of IAM. We also depend upon you and your fellow family members to financially support IAM with regular “seed-faith” offerings.

You can expect that the monthly dues will increase from time to time, depending upon the cost of administrations and doing the business of ministry. Keep in mind that we are all in this together and most other organizations require much more money from their membership.

Not only does the finance of International Apostolic Ministries cover it’s administrations but it also enables the Apostolic Directors to arrange ministry growth and supply, as well as mission projects that are shared by the entire International Apostolic Ministries family of ministries.

As an organization, our service to our members continues through the weeks and months of every year. The services that each member receives are dependent upon both the need and how the member makes himself/herself available.

Because our membership is by “Auto-Pay” it requires an active credit card or debit card to be a member of IAM. This process keeps our administrations at a minimum. We do not believe that this is an undue burden to people in our society today.

So, after the application process, you will be sent a letter of acceptance, and a Certificate of Ordination, suitable for framing. These are your credentials as an “Ordained Minister” and Member of International Apostolic Ministries. These credentials are the property of International Apostolic Ministries and must be surrendered upon request from the Executive Secretary of International Apostolic Ministries.

As a member of this apostolic network, this tribe, this spiritual family, this fellowship of ministries, it is necessary that you keep us informed of your current address, phone numbers, and email address. These are the means of communications that we will use to contact you on a regular basis. You have a profile as a member on this website. Please keep your profile information up to date. It doesn’t do us any good if you just send us an email with your information changes, so please keep your membership profile up to date.

In the event that both husband and wife wish to be ordained members of International Apostolic Ministries, both husband & wife may co-apply using the same form by clearly noting with name or initials the individual information. All information not clearly marked will be assumed as the same for both persons. There is no fee for the spouse’s ordination. We build the spouses membership profile after the ordination process is completed.
