The tenth chapter of the gospel of Luke reports the sending of the seventy out into the harvest fields. Jesus tells them to go into the cities and villages where He will visit later. These seventy had a precise heavenly plan and they went with the power and authority that the Messiah gave to them.

Their purpose was to heal the sick and cast our demons and proclaim the Kingdom of heaven.
